Vacay *Rebrand

Vacay is a traveling app designed to create a faster and more enjoyable booking process for travelers. Each screen is designed to expose users to the light and fun side of vacationing. The easy to use application matched with its sleek design guarantees users a memorable experience while planning their next Vacay.

Vacay is an app & UI design I created in 2017 for a final project. Three years later, I've decided to revisit, refine, & rebrand. This design offers a cleaner and more modern feel while still providing an easy to use interface.

Out with the Old

Vacay's original design was all about vacation, using bright colors & visuals to lure in users. The logo itself was a blend of a location pin & user icon, paired with the Rakoon typeface for an overall playful design.

With this new design I wanted to go for a cleaner look, focusing more on the user rather than the destination. While still incorporating bold colors & visuals, the rebrand clears the air for a more timeless look that can be used in family or corporate settings.

Be Seen & Be Heard

The original flow allowed users to post & save photos from past vacations but with this updated design, users have the chance to share photos with friends or submit for a chance to be featured.

The weather has cleared, the sun is out, & now we are all about the user. Wether that means highlighting aspiring photographers or connecting you with loved ones, Vacay wants to make the most out of how you vacay!
